  • Many organizations publish business handbooks covering important topics like business registration, work permit requirements, etc. These books are available at book stores (like Asia Books or Duang Kamol) or can be purchased directly from the companies. Two good business manuals are produced by law firms: "Thailand Business Basics" by Tilleke & Gibbins (Fax: 254-4302) and "Thailand Business Legal Handbook" by International Legal Counselors Thailand (Fax: 679-6041).
  • The Royal Thai Government’s Board of Investment (BOI) promotes selected industries by offering a range of investment incentives such as tax holidays and exemptions from import duties. Even if your business does not qualify for BOI benefits, the BOI publications are worthwhile publications. They include a broad range of BOI essential information on investment specifics such as the cost of labor, communication, or factory setup.
